The brownstones were brought from Canada where they were precut and numbered for ease of assembly.  Hardwood, marble, tile, hand-tooled leather and chandeliers grace the home's spacious interior.  Richly carved fireplaces, detailed ceilings and elegant staircases represent the beauty of the era.  This grand old lady is still family-owned.  The restoration was completed to maintain the home's original splendor but not at the expense of modern conveniences.  The Brownstone Inn's old world beauty is tastefully blended with modern-day comforts including a whirlpool tub and separate shower in each private bath.
